Stateside Opportunities:

 

Aircraft Electrical Repair Mechanic - CFT (Corpus Christi, TX)

 

Duties: Performs depot level maintenance including adjusting, repairs, or replacing electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, and miscellaneous duties to service aircraft.

Requirements:  Experience at organizational or depot maintenance level with a minimum five (5) years actual and recent rotary wing aircraft electrical maintenance / repair experience. Must have completed military aviation maintenance training or aviation maintenance technical school curriculum or possess an FAA issued A&P license. Candidates with prior maintenance / modification experience on the AH-64 or AH-1 will be preferred. Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory; must have your own basic hand tools for an aircraft electrician.

Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.

Must be a US citizen (No dual citizenship) and have the ability to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check.

Compensation: $26.85 hourly, plus benefits. Personnel relocating from over 70 miles from site will receive per diem for the first 30 days at the rate of $90 daily, plus initial mileage for relocation.

 

AH-64 (Apache), AH-1 (Cobra) Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic

 

Immediate Openings, Corpus Christi Army Depot, TX (AECOM CFT Contract)

Description:  Removes, repairs, fabricates, replaces, and installs aircraft parts and major structural components. Plans, lays out, cuts, bends, drills, reams, installs fasteners, assembles and installs sheet metal parts and airframe structural members; Works with close tolerance dimensions, special instruments and pneudraulic tools; Performs depot level structural modification and repair using engineering drawings, specifications, standards and maintenance manuals. Documents work performed. 

Experience:  You must have a minimum of 5 years aircraft sheet metal experience with specific experience on either the AH-64 or AH-1 at the Depot or Organizational level.

Physical Demands:  Required to work in areas that are noisy, dusty, and dirty; will be exposed to heat, cold and wind; Frequent bending, reaching, climbing and standing for long periods of time. Work may be performed on top or under equipment in cramped or awkward positions

Skills:  You must be skilled in the use of hand tools; Knowledge of pneumatic sheers, floor break and metal stretchers and shrinkers; Interpret schematics, blueprints and technical data. Must be able to secure and account for all tools throughout your workday.

Tools Required:  You must have the basic hand tools of your trade.  Tool list will be provided.

Compensation:  Position pays an hourly rate of $26.85, plus benefits to include medical and dental.  Overtime is required and pay 1 ½ times base rate; 10 paid holidays, 2 weeks paid vacation after 1yr of service, and 2 paid sick days per year after completing the 90 day probationary period.  Per diem for the 1st 30 days will be provided and initial mileage for personnel relocating from over 70 miles from the depot.

Other:  You must be a US citizen (no dual citizenship); must have a valid current driver’s license; must be able to pass a stringent background check.

AFGHANISTAN

Certified Automotive Air Conditioning Specialist

 

You must be stateside for consideration. Current security clearance is required.

Immediate openings for current EPA or ASE Certified automotive air conditioning technicians. Must have a minimum of two years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems on vehicles. Experience with Red Dot system is a plus. All tools are provided. Must have or be able to obtain a US passport.

Hazmat Coordinator

 

CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the overall supervision of the QS&E Manager; Quality, Safety, and Environmental Office; is responsible for assisting shop sections in compliance with all Safety and Environmental guidelines, regulations, and policy. Categorizes materials whether hazardous or not. May move or otherwise safely handle HAZMAT and advise personnel on proper handling of HAZMAT; Maintains HAZMAT storage areas in accordance with current requirements; Assists in properly disposing of HAZMAT in accordance with pertinent directives; Is familiar with all safety equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, and established safety and environmental procedures; Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3yrs experience required and completion of HAZWOPER training; must be able to understand English with the proficiency of a high school graduate.

EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent.

Compensation: $90K

 

FACILITIES HVAC MECHANIC

 

CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The HVAC Mechanic works under the supervision of the Engineer and Special Purpose Senior HVAC Mechanic, and repairs and services military or civilian heating, ventilation, air conditioners, and refrigeration equipment. Diagnoses the source of trouble and determines the extent of repairs required as outlined in allocation charts. You will replace worn or broken parts. You must be familiar with electrical systems of all current equipment. He/she performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You must be a HSG or equivalent with military or civilian training in air conditioning, refrigeration systems, and electricity. Minimum of 3 years experience maintenance experience in HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Certification in Reclamation of Refrigerant, level 3 or universal is preferred. Must be able to lift 25lbs continuously, 50lbs intermittently, and be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures. A US passport or be able to attain one is required. If prior military, you must have no less than an honorable discharge.

Compensation: $93K and benefits, plus housing, transportation, R&R program, and access to available facilities.

 

Wheel Mechanic (Accepting resumes only)

 

Light and heavy wheel mechanics with a minimum of 5yrs experience performing DS/GS level maintenance on military vehicles.  Prefer experience from the MOS 63-series.

 

Compensation:  $96K

 

Small Arms Repair Inspector - Security Clearance

 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Allied Trades Branch Supervisor, ensures small arms repair is performed. May repair, disassemble; examine parts and assemblies, reassemble, and adjust components. Determines serviceability of parts; exercises initiative to maintain productive progress, and accepts responsibility for the results. Maintains records and status of small arms.

Safely uses common-hand tools and shop equipment. Diagnoses and determines remedies for failures commonly encountered in the repair of small arms, with little or no supervision, using a variety of diagnostic techniques and TMDE; May instruct other employees in the proper repair maintenance procedures; Conducts/assists with inventories; Enters data in WEBUIT and PBUSE. Submits reports/documents as required.

Required to conduct and receive cross training as directed; Performs other duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years experience in small arms repair and prefer prior inspection experience.

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Current SECRET clearance required.

EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. Armament Training for Armament Repairer, MOS 45B or 45K20/30, USMC 2111, or civilian equivalent preferred.

PHYSICAL: Must be able to lift 25 Lbs. continuously, 50 Lbs intermittently; Able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
